Moonlight MPEG-2 Encoder

Bonjour Messieurs... and Mesdames ;)

I'm searching for a cheap (but good) MPEG-2 encoder.
I've found this encoder

Seems like this encoder produces high quality, according to these samples

Another question (off-topic):
I'm not able to play audio files through Odio Dekoda (from Elecard) in 24 or 32 bits output format ("can't set all audio decoder parameters" error box).
I'm using Windows 2000 SP4 with an 24/96 M-Audio card...and this problem does not appear under a XP box :confused: ).

other alternatives at a similar price are Tmpgenc Plus and CinemaCraft Basic.

i see that you can download a demo/trial version of the moonlight encoder. you can do the same with Tmpgenc and CCE. so why not download the trial versions and do some tests before you choose ?

Try the newer version of OdioDecoda. Better to download it with full MPEG decoder pack:

I've installed the decoder pack you gave me but the issue is still present.
When I select 16 or 32 bits, it remains on 16 bits.

This bug is not present on Windows XP with the same configutation.
I contacted the tech support, they are trying to see that problem.
Moonlight support is really great :)
