I have been converting quite a few AC3 files from 24 to 25 fps, using besweet to split the files into waves and Softencode to re-encode them.
Just something I`ve noticed is if i use s/forge to get the dialouge normalisation it may come out at -24db (or -22db with loudness contour on) but loading the original AC3 into softencode gives a Normalisation value of -27 db? Is besweet altering the volume at all (use it for a straight ota adjustment, no azid switch) ?
After encoding a couple with the Soundforge values I`ve notice the sound is quieter than the original, will try a few with the original d/normalisation values and see what happens..
