Do they even exist? Do they have silver, clear or gold burning surface? I've been searching forever and havent seen anyone selling them on the web. i've bought some imported dvds from asia. i am pretty sure they are 4.7g, but their buring sides are clear like the dual layer dvd.

Hi & welcome to the board,
the "burning surface" of these "discs from Asia" (in your case read: bootlegs? which would be a totally incorrect general assumption, btw.) is probably clear because these discs are NOT dvd-r or dvd +r :).
Many perfectly legit discs are/were released on DVD-5 ... simply because manufacturing costs for dvd-9s are/were higher. And with VCDs still being immensely popular in parts of Asia, bitrate is probably not the highest priority anyways.
If you are indeed talking about bootlegs, make sure to check Rule #6 ... no discussion of illegally obtained materials.
