mpeg2 edit and autogk

I like to capture in Mpeg2 and compress with Autogk but I've recently needed to crop a scrolling marquee and I am having problems. Autogk's autocrop obviously doesn't pick it up. I've tried using Womble but after compression with Autogk, using either Xvid or Divx, I get some severe aliasing during scene changes. So my question is. Does anyone know of a decent utility to crop mpeg2 without rerendering like Vegas does or the problems that Womble has with Autogk? Any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

AGK uses a d2v generated by DGIndex. You can crop your video manually in DGIndex and use the resulting d2v in AGK. Of course, you have to be careful about the AR issue.
