Curious on how to obtain some files to follow the doom9 guide. I know how to make an dvdimage.iso, but the guide shows to use .m2v files. I wanted to use the file name MPlex_Muxed_File00.mpg but it wouldn't accept it in my assest bin. So I figured I would try the .mpv file that just shows video and add the the audio file. But the Extracted_audio_1.wav wasn't allowed in the asset bin as well.

Then I just figured I would go ahead with the guide and now add the .mpv file to the main movie, but I get an error saying "Video Asset length is greater than the maximum allowed".

I figured I should possibly try just making a backup copy of one of my dvds, but when I use dvd decrypter all I get is the dvdimage.iso file or the video_ts folder/files. How would I get the .mpv files ect needed to test this some more? Or is there a way I can add .iso files to a project in DVD Maestro?

Thanks

When using DVDDecrypter change the ripmethode to "IFO-Mode". With standard settings the main movie PGC will allready be selected. Enable stream processing, select all streams you need and check "demux to extra file" for each stream. You will get a m2v/mpv stream for your video and AC3/wav/dts for your audio. These streams are ready for import in meastro.

You only can add elementary streams into meastro. So there is no way to add .mpg, .vob and .iso.

Ok now I have got my files needed.

Now I first add the m2v file to the asset bin, then try to drag it and drop it to the movie1 and it says its length is greater than maximum allowed.

Now if I try to add a ac3 it says media detection error. But if I add the ac3 file before the m2v file it works but then it won't even add the m2v file to the asset bin(media detection error) and the ac3 file adds fine to the movie1. Any ideal on what problem I could be having?
