I have a problem with an old DV capture that I converted to XviD (ffdshow says "build -1", I don't actually remember the date/version).
The file plays fine from the CD (meaning there is no read error) but the image is all borked except from the keyframes (the keyframe it's ok but afterwards the image rapidly deteriorates).
I tried different ffdshow/XviD versions (including from the past year - I think I made that encode last year).
The CD it's not mine (I made it for a teacher at my university), so I don't know what triggered this problem.
There is no B-frame/Q-pel, but from the quantizers I must have used AQ (don't know why  ). A strange thing is that I saw quantivers lower than 2 (1.16) and I'm absolutely sure I never went below 2.
Any ideas to fix this would be grately apreciated.
Thanks.
