WinLirc supporting software DVD player?

Hi!

I've been trying like crazy to find a decent software DVD player that supports WinLirc (to communicate with my remote), but I cannot find any. Could anybody perhaps help me here please?

This frontend for MPlayer supports it, never tried it though.

For my HTPC, I use IRAssistant & WinLIRC to emulate key presses for MPlayer.

I will try the link you gave me and I will also have a look at the IRAssistant. I've tried WinLirc though and it didn't work for my remote at all (there is still a chance I need to switch some switches first).

MPC can play DVD-s, and has support for WinLIRC
