Hi Guys,

Is it possible to still create a dvd from VOB files only? i.e. do not have the other files ripped.

Thanks

@ musictoad

DVD Lab (http://www.mediachance.com/dvdlab/Help/assets.htm) can use input VOBs. You can choose to have them demuxed or not or joined. There is a 30-day full working trial for you to try. This is my personal preference as for reauthoring software with menus goes. ;)

Here's DVD Lab's main page (http://www.mediachance.com/dvdlab/).

I was thinking about that too but if musictoad had subtitles in his VOBs, he/she would be hard-pressed to get the right colors since the original IFO is not available. The situation would be better off stripping them. Also musictoad did not give any hints on whether the backup plan included menus or not.
