Hey guys, sorry about using the bugmenot screen name but I do not want to wait five days to fix this problem.

I am using the trial version of adobe premiere and divx5 to create a Counter-strike movie. My problem is that whenever I try to use Divx for the codec, the movie Premiere produces always is horrible (as in audio fine but video is messed. It will show the first frame and then wont switch the next for like 10 seconds and miscolored random squares pop up everywhere). Then it crashes whatever player I am viewing it in.

It does not do this when I'm using Microsoft DV AVI though but the file is HUGE and I don't like that. I haven't changed any options except for the quality setting.

Does anyone know why this would happen?

Thanks!

Encode the video with lossless Huffyuv.
Then use virtualdub(mod) (or dr.divx,if you prefer...) to re-encode the huffyuv movie with divx or xvid....
