View Full Version : Main movie only: IfoEdit vs. DVD Decryptor + stream processing

It seems that the "established" method of stripping unwanted extras and keeping only the main movie involves ripping the files (with DVD Decryptor in "file mode" being the preferred method) to disk, and then using Ifoedit to process and strip the IFO and VOB files. I have been using this method successfully, and have no complaints. I was, however, wondering whether or not the same result could be achieved using DVD Decryptor in "IFO mode" with stream processing. The obvious advantage would be a reduction in steps and time. Would this work? Or are the IFO processing routines used by DVD Decryptor not quite mature enough to replace the need for Ifoedit in this procedure?
