Sup-Picture Time Out

Is it possible to turn off a subpicture on a motion menu? I know how to turn them on i.e if the motion menu is 20 seconds long the subpicture comes in at 5 seconds but how can I turn it off 5 seconds before the end? I have tried inputing a scene then cropping the supicture and highlights but when I play them back it still seems to be there although in the time line it shows it is not.

Select the subtitle-item. At the propertybrowser you will see "Sub-Picture Play" selected. Doubleclick on the "Data" folder and you will see the option "Data End Time". Here you have to type the lenght of the subtitle play. That's all.

Hi!

It's surely great for you that works in scenarist. I have the same problem but with Maestro. The subpicture on is easy, but subpicture off I think is not possible.
But It would be great if someone could tell me, even using ifoedit how to switch off (not visible + no reaction to any command) the subpictures before the end (after compiling my dvd).
