Hello,
I use Nero to recode my own 720x576 DV video material to something smaller to archive on hard disk (Nero Mpeg 4). To get a quality where the lines on a blouse don’t give artifacts I need +/- 2.5Kbps. XDIV was a tiny bit better, but I prefer the simple Nero interface.
I was fine with this, but when I recoded a 1200x675 DVD (just to see if I could) it was fine at 700Kbps and great at 1Mbps (Mpeg 4). Even the fast scenes where great!
How can it be that a recoded DVD looks great at 1Mbps, and my own DV without fast moving complex scenes needs 2.5Mbps, just for a blouse?! Using the same program!
Any suggestions?
Regards,
Alex
