Ok afther years of splitting dvd9 to dvd5 (or en/trans-coding) i bought me a nec 3500 dl burner.
Now i am curious how i could get 2 dvd5 movies on 1 dvd9 disk.
If possible with their menu's.

Anyone a good idea or suggestion?

(ps had i hard time to decide where to put this question)

hope some one can help me ..ty in advance

Hi damian_dimitri. :)

Putting two movies on a DVD9 is very straight forward with DVD Shrink.
http://www.dvdshrink.info/compilation.php

However, including the original menus is extremely difficult, if not near impossible.
A new menu would have to be created, so as to be able to choose what movie-menu to go to, and all the navigation information would have to be changed.

I personally do not know how this can be done.

Hello

i got 2 movies on dvd..pretty easy as you said. (dvd2one/shrink etc)
Found a guide to dvdremake....about combining 2 dvd's including menu's.
But it is a bit to difficult for me.

perhaps some apps will include it ..in the near future

to make new menu's i suggest using dvd-lab pro (http://www.mediachance.com/dvdlab/dvdlabpro.html) beta..

it does a great job and has an extensive GUI which is fairly
easy to use, it's good to read a small guide first though,
at first glance the workings of the program might not be
completely obvious to a new user..

various tips etc can be found on the official website...
this program is not free however..

after making a menu with it you can easily export the complete dvd
with menus and movies etc to a dvd folder ala VIDEO_TS or a .IMG image
both of which are ready to be burnt.. it has an option to export dvd9 images too..

one i do not know, however, is how to get back the original menu's from the dvd.. never really tried though..
