Convert your ac3 to 5.1 wav using besweet (or get ac3 input plug-in for Nero) and encode it using Nero.

It's pretty easy with Batchenc (and i didn't say thank you to the author scuze me) besweet and the latest nero dll (aac.dll aacenc32.dll)

If i didn't made a mistake here is my command line (with bsn thanks unite-video and the great tutorial)

BeSweet -core ( -input <infile> -output <outfile.mp4> -logfilea "BeSweet.log" ) -azid( -c normal ) -bsn( -6chnew -vbr_streaming ) -ota( -G 1 )

Don't forget to set a full path for

-core( -output <out.mp4> ),

otherwise you won't get any output. You might also add

-bsn( -aacprofile_he )

or

-bsn( -aacprofile_lc )

for control of which profile is used.

i try recode 2 to encode in mp4 an anime (xvid 640*480 of 200Mo)

i choose video at 425 et audio at 64 (but it's only lc profile...can't choose the he profile)

get a 90Mo file with a surprising quality....the same i get with rv9-ehq high with same parameters...

its a mpeg4 video codec ?? i have a 35-40fps encoding speed (rv9 ehq high is around 25-30fps at max)

i wonder i i can encode with a batch file using nero video/audio dll ?

damrod: slightly off-topic for this thread, but RV9/10 is a completely different codec than MPEG-4, and much more complicated, so both encoding and decoding takes longer. I have tried the Nero MPEG-4 encoder as well, it's amazingly fast, but my quality experience is different from yours... My favorite MPEG-4 video codec is XviD :cool:

i just try recode for encoding audio but give a try at 425k for video since i usually encode my anime at this parameter with rv9/10

i will test xvid withn these same settings and compare again with rv9/10....
