Hi All

I have just done a rebuild of Hidalgo with v63a ( 4 times * 6 Hours :D )(No post processing except audio of movie (I keep the DTS only)

And now I get a C-13 error every time I clik the start movie in the menu? I am guessing that it has something to do with the bitrate?
DTS + Picture might be to high?

The transmission video clip in the menu is running fine.
And if I open the DVD-rebuilder in DVDshrink its dosent complain.
And also tryed ifoedit to correct the ifo files if something should be wrong? But its the same.

Can anybody give me the old v50 or v51 so I can do a rebuild with this version to see if its a build problem and not a Encoding problem?

I never experienced this problem before :(
But maybee its the Movie..!

Cheers
Casperse

I had a similar C-13 problem with Lord of the Rings : Return of the King and my Sony NS900. However, I thought it was the Memorex-R I was using. I put the files on a Philips+RW and a Ritek-R and it worked fine.

I use RITIK best disc ever and normally the play fine in my Sony.

I just tryed to do Hidalgo with Instant 8 and burned it to a Ritek
And that worked!!!

Strange I will experiment more with this...maybee try to use DVDremake and IFOedit to check the structure more?

Thanks for you inputs! nice to know im not alone!

I also use Ritek and I´m very happy with them. But I would never discard a media problem

So, when I have a dvd that not plays in my standalone player, before suspecting a rebuild problem, I check if the rebuilded files can be played from the HD with a software player. If OK, I burn again in a DVD+RW I know it works, and if OK I burn again in a Ritek.

If I have deleted the source, I try copying the malfunctioning DVD to the HD with DVDDecrypter (ISO read mode) and test it.

Just if all the above fails, I start suspecting a RB problem. But then, I do the back up again, and test the new backup as indicated above to see if the problem is still there.

If the problem is still there, just thn I ask for help with a REB problem.
