Error adding external subtitle stream

Hello. I'm trying to convert an AVI to VCD. When I try to add an external subtitle stream, once I double click my file it gives me an error and says:

"List index out of bounds(0)".

Any ideas how to fix this? Or what it means?

I noone replys to your post, you either ask something really stupid, or the question have been asweared for a million times already.
Search for "List index out of bounds"!
And I suppose you to delete empty lines from the sub stream, if you have any.
