Good evening. I'm have a bit of bother with 1.2.2 build 3. (purely through my own lack of knowledge) I jumped up to the latest version from 1.1.3 or so and I note now that when using scenarist the dvdimage.dvd file is no longer produced in the dvd-mux folder.

I used to mount this in Deamon-tools and 'copy entire disk' in Nero Express, which was fine. Before discovering that file early on I had been burning the contents of the dvd-image folder and having trouble with the end result. I can't really remember what now ( a year ago), I think it may have been lip sync issues or something.

Now that the .dvd file is not being produced I have gone back to burning the contents of the dvd-image file with Nero 6.3.1.13. Sometimes I have tried the dvd-video option and other times the dvd udf option which was advisable in the past for compatibility. I am having trouble in several different stand alone players lately with my backups. I havn't been able to establish if Nero or the Scenarist output is to blame. Domestic players are displying 'bad disk' etc. But they play in my pc.

Before I go back a few releases of d2s can anyone help out?

Cheers

Hi,

Scenarist still does produce a .iso image which can be burned with 'DVD Decrypter' or similar tool.

Regarding the contents of the DVD-Image folder, Nero Burning ROM 6.3.x.x has proved totally reliable for me in several standalone machines providing the DVD-Video mode is used.

Regards,
Bob

My humble apologies. I couldn't see the wood for the trees. I had been expecting the image file in the dvd-mux folder where it used to be. I can see the .iso file in the root now.
