Ulead dvd movie factory3 problem

I used avi clips to make a dvd movie with movie factory 3, it was easy, and I made a cool little menu with a custom background and music.

My problem......the menu has sound, but the clips do not. The sound worked through out the entire preview process before the software encoded, but when the disk burned, only the menu has sound.

I even watched the tutorial that came with the software to be sure that I did everything right.

the AUDIO_TS folder is supposed to be empty, it is only used on AUDIO DVDs ...

What was the format of your sound files?
Did you pick pcm, ac3, or mpeg to output as?
.
If you picked ac3 and don't have the plugin you'll get no sound. (or using a trial version)
If your menu audio is a different format than your video audio that could cause problems.
