I finally registered and became able to post to this forum, Have been searching through the forums and site for quite some time since I began backing up my collection. I wanted to take a moment to say thank you for the site and all of the knowledge in these forums. If I had only found the site a bit sooner I could have saved $50 and not bought "1ClickCopyDVD" insted I just would have started ushing Shrink from the get-go. So far I have backed up 300+ dvds and have had few problems. I HAVE burnt a few coasters from time to time for various reasons but at a rate of less than 10 coaster for 300 successes I think I can live with that. Besides the error disks give my daughter something to play with that is not my set of back up disks. I look forward to learning much more about backing up DVDs and hopefully about authoring some of my own in the fture. Thanks again for the wealth of knowledge found here.

Sorry to hear you lost $50, well, at least you're on the right track now. I can't help but laugh when I go to my local retail electronics store and see those pathetic boxes that say "never buy dvd's again!" ohhhh they are so cleverr. I'm glad you like the forum, hope you stay awhile, I like it too. Personally my favorite forum is the dvd2avi one, but all of them are good. Anyway thanks for posting, these type of threads are kinda rare here, cuz the atmosphere tends to be more serious than other forums I've been to, but the people are still nice.
