Anyone knows of a program that can show if a frame is "P" or "B" ?
Since i got an excellent quality xvid video and would like to know if B frames were used in it,
pretty much as Virtual Dub does for mpg1 files.

ffdshow -> OSD -> Frame Type
or: drf analyser (http://www.geocities.com/analyzerDRF/) - shows statistics...

just used drf analyser, but i cant believe to what it says
the visual quality is excellent, but analyser shows an average drf of 7,55, min 4 and max 11, unbelievable!
res is 672x512, bitrate 931, so the bitrate is effectively low, but quality is superbe....

Glad you like it :)
For a reference, what settings did you use to encode the video? Source files?
