Playback freezing on standalone player

I recently purchased asony DRU 710A. Just a day back I had ripped Meet Joe Black with DVD2SVCD and all the project files were there in the folder, so to test it I used DVDLab to create a project with the existing cce encoded mpv file and the riped ac3 file. I burned the movie.

Now when I play the movie it freezes. Itplays for may be half a second and freezes. If I try to scan forward it will move little bit forward and again freez. The thing is like moving to the next I frame or P frame. If I go in the 1/2 speed slow rate there is no freezing.

What could be the problem?

The problem got solved but I do not know why!

Instead of muxing AC3 file I muxed the MP2 file and my player played it perfectly. By the way both audio file's bitrate were 192. Can someone enliten me why the player refused to play the video with AC3 file but played it properly when the audio was Mpeg2?

As an extension how the player's logic works when playing a DVD/CD?
