I'm wondering about the "MPEG2Source" option should I put a check next to it, so does it help speed or reduce quality thanks for your help.

No, it's needed if you haven't installed MPEG2Source (MPEG2Dec3dg.dll) in the default avysinth plugins directory.
If you can encode with no problems, it's not needed, but setting it doesn't harm.
