Hi
I am trying out the hidden settings with DVDRB but how do I find out what the bitrate is for 5.1 and DTS tracks?
I believe AC3 is normally 448 but maby thats not always the case.
Maby there is a small utility for the examination

If you have PowerDVD you can see various stream information during playback, such as current video/audio bitrate and so on.

You can also try DVD Shrink. It doesn't tell you the bitrate, but it does tell you the actual size of the track in MB.
There are 2 bitrates for DTS: 756kbps (half-rate) or 1536kbps (full). Most DTS tracks use half-rate.
PCM (usually only found on Concert DVDS) is also 1536kbps. However, PCM is 2-channel only, where as DTS full is 5.1.
I don't think they are required, but these are the usual bitrates for Dolby:
5.1 448kbps
2.0 192kbps
1.0 96kbps

VobBlanker is an easy and free way of getting this information. ;)
