Guys,

Can anyone tell me why I am getting this error from VirtualDub. GordianKnot seems to do thr first pass ok, but then I get the error

Cannot start video compression
The source image format in not compatiable
(error code -2)

It I use Xvid instead of DivX is work 100%

i've switched to xvid a long time ago because i had a lot of conflicting problems with other codecs on my machine with divx. xvid works 100% for me. any reason why you won't use xvid?

i've fixed most of my divx problems by making sure divx is completely uninstalled, rebooting, and installing divx code from scratch.
