error 06 with 0.63(a)

Hi,

I have a problem and can't help myself:

I tried both times to recode a dvd, both the same 0006 Inconsistance error, always between encoding and rebuilding.
rebuilding starts, but at 1/4 of the rebuild process, that f**** error appears.

I used 0.63 at the first encoding-try.
At second try I used 63a.

I had done 3 other dvds in the last days, all with 0.63 and had no problems.

I will try another dvd (I have 2 others to do) and hope, that there won't come any problems.

If the great jdobbs has an idea to fix the problem, please let me know.

I read the linked posting before I write mine.

But do you think it would be great instead of fixing the problem to user a transcoderprogram? I don't think so.

Hi Rob!

No, agreed, but the point is to be totally sure that the inconsistency is due to DVD-RB an not to other factors.

Sorry for being a little bit schematic (it's due to the attempt of being clear, together with the poor english fluency...).

1. Did you perform any type of pre processing on original title ? [if yes, please consider you may obtain very good results with post processing...]

2. What are you using for decrypting ? [maybe it's worth to emphasize that recent titles have introduced intentionally screwed contents; so it's better keeping DVD Decrypter, which is the suggested ripper, ALWAYS UPDATED...]

3. You just posted the Rebuilder release (063, and then 063a); nothing else. So it is difficult to guess what is going wrong in your rebuiding session...

I used the latest version of the decrypter.

Sorry, but I cant say more as the error appears during the rebuild phase. There is no other error, only the standard text of error 0006.

I changed nothing in the AS-script (for example with rb-opt) I let the rebuilder do his work from the start till the error ;)

I did no changes on my system in the meantime.

During this night I made another copy of my 7 dvd box, and all worked as it should do.

I cant imagine that 1 of 7 dvds can be a little bit different from the others.

I'll keep trying.
