Recode AVS and audio

I want to use recode to make mp4s, but i want to use a different filter than neros, so I want to use the lanczos filter. I can make the avs filter in gordian knot and then open it in recode, but i don't know how to get the audio in there to get a full mp4 movie file. Any tips?
