Hi,

I use a Hauppauge WinTV DVB-c. Recording with Linux VDR I get all audio streams (e.g. dual language, and/or ac3). Which windows software is capable to do that? I tried some without success (TT-Original, ProgDVB, DVBConrol, MyTheatre).

thx,
mordas

Try dvbsvcr2 (http://dvbs.cyberhome.at/dvbsvcr2.htm)

You can do this with SkyView program, but this program is working only with SS2 cards.
Up to 25 audio PIDs can be recorded simultaniously from the same transponder and can be written to one .ts file or to 25 separate mp2 files.

This works nice with FTA stations. At least when recording to mpg format, with pva format I only get 1 audio stream. Unfortunately it seems to have problems with encrypted channels (if have CI/CAM/Smartcard). On these channels it doesn't record all selected audio streams. Here I am only able to record additional ac3 streams, if available.

@mordas: Did you try to capture multiple audio streams from the ui or from the commandline?
I did capture both ways mp2 and AC3 to a pva file but I do not have a CI.

I was using the gui. Now I tried the command line, but that didn't change anything. For more than 1 audio stream I have to choose mpg format. This way I am able to record all available audio streams on FTA stations, on pay-tv stations I get max 1 mp2 and 1 ac3 stream.
