movielink downloads

Is there any way to capture movielink downloads and burn them to cd?The 635 MB file size doesn't seem arbitrary(it's ideal for cd-r).

no illegality meant.I just find it strange that the file size(635MB)seems almost specific for cd-burning and the cost of a 24 hr. rental is comparable to buying a previously viewed tape.
