Hi Guys

First off this program seems great if i only i can get it to work

I sucessfully completed my first try with v59(i think) and also am using rb-opt and i checked the dvd by skimming through it and all seemed perfect

When i sat down to watch it though it kept freezing up(now i read the sony issues but this is on a cyberhome 300) so i took it to a friends house and it would freeze for a second and then jump to the last chapter(total of 5 times for the the whole movie)

Now all i did in rb-opt was join the vobs perataining to the movie and change the matrix)

I know it could be so many things wrong(especially on my end) but any suggestions

Also i am using verbatim dvdr(these are the only dvd's I've used since getting my dvd burner and haven't had problems before)

thanx

If you could tell us what suporting programs you are using...

Avisynth - ####
CCE Basic - ####, CCE SP - #### or QuEnc - ####
MPEG2DEC3 - ####

and you might want to use DVD-RB .62 since there has been many improvements since .59 (if you are using QuEnc, .62 should help alot with the skipping/jumping).

Maybe the problem is the version of mpeg2dec3. In fact if you read here http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=74308 it is written:

DVD-RB is not compatible with MPEG2Dec 1.02 and greater and DGDecoder. If you experience problems with your .avs files, be sure and check your version. When in doubt, use the version linked here.

So try using the mpeg2dec3 version posted in the thread I've mentioned before.

And wasn't there already a load of fixes from 0.59 to 0.60b? You should really try 0.60b. v0.62 has some problems but they'll be fixed in the next version.

The first thing I would do is to repeat the exercise, but omitting rb-opt. That would let me see if the problem was with the software or with my editing.

I always burn first to DVD+RW and check that; I don't burn to permanent media until I've had a chance to watch the movie end-to-end.
