I am having playback problems on my stand alone Sony dvd player. It complains that my dvd is outside the play region.
I have an MPEG1 video, originally a british show. It has been re-encoded somehow, before I got it, to NTSC.
I pump the file through TMPGEnc DVD Author program.
Burn w/Nero 6.xx onto a DVD-RW dvd disc.
Plays back fine on my Minket 1810 portable. It is set for region 1 playback only, ya know default setting.
Will not playback on my Sony DVP-NS315 standalone dvd player. The Sony complains that it cannot play back the dvd due to "... area restictions".
Why?
Other videos I have processed in this manner have played back fine on the Sony. I have googled around to no avail.
Thank you for reading/your help.
