Hi I am trying to use gordian knot and when I click open (a *.d2v file)
I get the error, "Before you can use this you have to put mpeg2dec3.dll into your avisynth plugin directory".

I obtained a copy of mpeg2dec3.dll and placed it into the plugin folser and rebooted but it didnt seem to work.

I then proceded to unistall both gordian knot and its rip pack reinstalled it all including mpeg2dec3.dll all to no avail.

can anyone help me on this one.

Thanks in advance!!!

Try posting in the Gordian Knot area of the forum for questions relating to it's use.

Anyways, you should try putting mpeg2dec3.dll into the folder which Gordian Knot is looking for AviSynth plugins, and not necessarily directly into your AviSynth plugins folder.

You can find this information by looking at the tab concerning file locations within Gordian Knot (available once advanced options are enabled, iirc), and possibly change the default location for AviSynth plugins to your actual AviSynth plugins folder instead of the default Gordian Knot folder.

Hope that helps.
