I have just recently bought a NEC-2500 burner to replace my NEC-1300 burner, but I have encountered that even that burning DVD+-Rs and +-RWs works just fine, my new burner completely ignores CD media like CD-rs and CD-rws, which is kinda strange. All the times I try to burn a CD (I have tried with different brands of CDs and its every time the same) I get an error in NERO saying "buffer underrun protection activated" which cancels the burning process before it even starts.
Can it do anything to affect the situation with my DVD-burner to burn CDs? I never had such an issue with NEC-1300, which is a very similar model to 2500.
Thanks in advance for any possible help.
