Runtime Error '6' overflow again

Hi,

Runtime Error '6' overflow occurs again. When i had the error the first time i was encoding Lord of the rings 2 extended, dvd 2. It was a dvd with loth of extras, so it is here.

I'm having problems with Bad Boys II dvd 1, the error occurs during preparation when dvd-rebuildir does its prediction of Q of one of the extras. I'm using One Pass mode. First time it occurs i used stealing space from extra 50% and turned off all audio in the extras to get extra space for the main movie.

Right now i'm giving it a try with leaving the dvd in the original state, no stealing space from extras, all audio turned on....

Okay same error here: it appears while predicting the Q of vts_03, a 104 MB 4:3 extra with 2 languages. Hmm, looks like it's messing with the q prediction, when the error occured there's a Q of 31266, so has leaving integer-zone.

Okay, now i'm gong o give it a trie with 2 pass encoding (3 pass cce)

Hmmm... I think something else is wrong (probably with the AVS or D2V files) and it is never actually getting any output from the predictive encodes.

I've only ever encountered this problem once. After much searching I discovered my problem was due to a corrupt ISO. DVD-RB had nothing to do with it at all. Try opening vts_03 directly with a software DVD player. This should confirm pretty quickly if the problem sits with you source, or elsewhere.

Okay, i've solved the problem. How I thought before, the error lies in the One Pass Encoding. I changed no setting and tried a 3 pass (2 pass CCE) job and... whamm!! all went out fine. A friend of mine had the same overflow error, but with a 3 Pass all went out fine.

Both movies had many extras, above 6, i would gess, and 16:9 and 4:3 mixed.

I can confirm : it's still overflow for ONE PASS VBR,
while try to find Q the DVD-RB is try and try for different value
but the same result and produce overflow :(

I've already reported this problem, and people don't care :(
or maybe they never use ONE PASS :( Silly :(

For TWO PASS, no problem!

ONE PASS overflow error NOT for all DVD, at least Mummy Returns
which I've already tried. :(

Yes, that's it exactly. How I wrote above, some friend of mine had the same problem, so I think it's still a bug in the Rebuilder, probably with too many and different VTSs.

OPV works fine via RBOpt, maybe you should use that.
