I see from a previous thread http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?threadid=78541&highlight=remove+layer+break that the "freezing video" problem in DVDRebuilder has been solved.
However, a DVD that I backed up last week ago exhibied this problem. While playing the back-up DVD on a stand-alone player, the the video froze when going into a new chapter. The audio, however, continued playing. If I fast forwarded past the bad point, the DVD would play through to completion without a problem. The back-up dvd also froze in the same spot when playing on the computer with Nero Media player 1.4.0.21 or Sonic CinePlayer 1.51.
Can somone look over my hardware/software list and the directions I followed and give me some clues as to what I might have done wrong. I followed the directions from doom9.org at http://www.doom9.org/mpg/dvdrb.htm
I did test making a back-up the DVD with InterVideo DVDCopy 2. That back-up did not have the freezing problem. (Although the DVDCpy 2 back-up displayed a couple of times the white block artifacts that DVDCopy is known to produce.)
Any advice would be appreciated.
