I have a downsampled DVD (using new big 3) here. I just want to reauthor the DVD so but I used old Big 3 method for the reauthoring.
I successfully ran dif4u. Then, I copied/paste the .m2v into .mpv. I then load the reauthorist file into scenarist. Using the simulation window, the subtitle color is yellow which is want I want.
I then proceed to build the vobs. After a successful build, I opened the vob in windows media player. The subtitle displayed is yellow which is good.
I configured IFOUpdate options according to the ones in the old Big 3 guide and proceeded to the update the affected VTSes.
I then open the VIDEO_TS.IFO in ifoedit and "get VTS". I then play the DVD and the subtitle is colored "white outline cyan text".
I opned the affected ifo into ifoedit and look at VTS_PGCITI->VTS_PGC_1. I made screen dumps of the original VTS ifo (from the source DVD image itself loaded using alcohol) and the affected VTS ifo. They are the same but viewing the DVD through ifoedit still produces "white outline cyan text".
any other ideas?
Thanks
