Any problems with ripping from an already processed DVD?

I ripped a movie to my harddrive, split it 2 to discs, and made a bunch of cosmetic changes. I burned the disc only to discover multiangle problems at the beginning credits.

Are there any problems with ripping again from my custom DVD to exclude the unneeded angles? I just want to fix the angle problem and not start all over again.

Reason why I ask is because if I use DVDDecryptor to rip the disc and retain angle 1, the whole angled or shared segment of the movie is gone. If I use SmartRipper, the only angle available is angle 1 in movie mode, but I still need the menus. I tried using Ifoedit's VobExtra to remove the angles but they are still there.

Either I am not removing the angles correctly or I need to rip a new copy again.

If you had to ask what movie it was, its Star Wars Ep 4. I know it is a reoccuring topic but I just need to know if it still isnt too late to fix the multi angle problem in a processed disc.

It all depends on how well the splitting program split the disc - and how it updated the IFO files. You cant just remove the other angle without updating the IFO files again and stuff.

I'd say you're better off starting from scratch and probably just shrinking it to fit on 1 disc instead of pissing around putting it on 2.

Of course you should just buy the dvd - assuming you're not now just talking about 'backing up' your original.
