VobEdit won't save

Has anyone else had trouble getting VobEdit to save to a folder? I am using an AMD 3200+ w\ Win XP. I've tried the Windows supplied compatibility mode change thing which hasn't helped on any of my old programs and didn't change VobEdit either. IfoEdit seems to have a mind of its own. On some occasions it saves but most of the time it just crashes at the end of the "Make IFO" job.

It's still just a 'display'-tool, which can't edit entries yet. :rolleyes:

Am I interpreting your reply correctly? The "Send to the Clipboard" button doesn't do anything? That's interesting if that is correct. If you make a change to the hex, how do you get it to the vob or ifo you need the change in? Your reply infers that you can look but you can't touch. Wow!

When you make a change to a vob file using VobEdit the change is made on the fly. You do not have to hit a save button to save the changes. The changes are "saved" as soon as you make them.

For example, if you want to make a change to a menu button, open VobEdit, tick the button box, find the values you wanted changed, change them, close VobEdit. You now have a modified vob.

The "Copy2Clipboard" button in VobEdit works. But you have to highlight what you want copied in the left pane first.

As for the IfoEdit crash, it is most likley your system or the source files that you are working with.

Gotcha! There is nothing like a little extra knowledge to help us know what we are doing. You are probably right about my IfoEdit crashing from bad files too.
