making a DVD/encore DVD pro

ok so im using some stupid program that came with my burner called NTI DVD-maker. it wont import a video and im wondering if anyone has a better program that is really really easy i dont care how expensive it is or anything. and it would be really helpful: (i have encore DVD and dont understand it) if someone could give a quick explanation or a link to where i can learn a really really basic version of it

I'm not sure that I understand correctly what you need. Do you want to burn a DVD-Video from DVD files?
If this is the case and you have enough HD space, use ImgTool with DVDDecrypter. ImgTool creates .iso image files from movie folders (containing the necessary VIDEO_TS subfolder) and can burn it right away with Decrypter. Both apps are free.
