My faq adress has changed

Thanks to my site web-site admins policy of SNAFU, my website changed adress without me knowing. :sly:

Please update any links.

On a more positive note:
After about 6 months of not being able to reach it they have FINALLY made available a ftp-update possibility for me, so I can actually update it again.
(Needless to say, if I had a gun I would shoot the admins just to put them out of their misery)

OK, Fixed. The pictures should work now.

BTW, I haven't been ripping and keeping tabs on this forum for all summer, so I might have missed some things.
I'll be making more updates during the next month.
Also I need to make some pics of the latest build and put them up.

Are there any issues that have cropped up that I should really know about to document? Any particular topic that's about them?

Hi Crusty, after viewing at the images on your FAQ, i decided to make them look better, so i made them in gif format.

Now they look much better and I've added some missing tables, the bitrate calculator table, and the decoder table (if you eventually plan to include them to your FAQ), so the total size of all images is 74,3k, from 199k they were before, not bad uh? :D

I gave to all of them the same name of the original to avoid confusion for you.

I hope you can use these in your FAQ!

(If you want to use these I can send you an e-mail, since I've no web space to store them...)

first i want to congratulate u for making such a clear ar up to date xvid faq. it's been a while since i haven't saw a decent faq. no offence.
however u made a mistake in the cpu table. duron also has sse instructions. well new ones at least.
so here it is:
spitfire core: mmx, 3dnow (650-900mhz, fsb 200)
morgan core: mmx, 3dnow, sse (950,1000,1100,1200,1300 mhz, fsb 200)
applebred core: mmx, 3dnow, sse (1400,1600,1800 mhz, fsb 266)
the ideea is: i u have a duron proc faster than 1ghz it has sse
ps: i'm not sure that those are all the instructions but i'm sure that morgan and applebred have sse.
