Hi,

I postponned so much to convert some Super8 tapes from family and finally now I decided to do it!
I know that is a lot of things to learn, but at first I need to clean some dirty Super8 tapes.
Someone has some experiences to share ?

I'd appreciate any suggestion.

Thanks,

Alexandre

That's ok...........this is what I do for a living. 90% of the time I use a filter chain in VD to correct flicker, color balance, hot spot, and other things. Avisynth is not as flexable at this time as VD for making changes and seeing results even though there are some great filters that VD doesn't have.

Many times the chain of filters must be adjusted for each reel because of age, film type, and who did the developing.

They don't want people to post their e-mail address here on the forum so go to my web site www.photorecall.net and e-mail me from there.

I will give you the .VCF file that I use and all the filters.
