Having trouble with interlaced material

This happened in .59 and .60. In The Punisher VTS 3 is interlaced and DVD Rebuilder marks it as progressive 23.976 fps instead of 29.97 fps and interlaced. The convertYUY2 doesn't have interlaced = true and the max bitrate is set to 9000. In VTS 4 it is marked as interlaced with max bitrate of 7200 but the fps is wrong DVD Rebuilder marks it as 23.976 instead of 29.97.

Anyone else have a problem like this?

It's supposed to be 23.976 always -- it gets reconverted on rebuild, it's part of the process. The decision for "interlaced" or not "interlaced" is made based upon the composition of the stream itself.

You are trying to outsmart the software... sit back and let it do its job.
