I am trying to enhance an old captured mpg with virtualdub.

The video "shakes" a lot and i've checked around in forums
and on webpages and I believe there is a something
that can fix this which is called Time Base Correction (TBC).

So far I've only been able to find hardware TBC.

Is there software TBC availabe?
Or maybe another solution to all the shakiness ;) ??

I doubt it would help, but against global shakiness deshaker for vdub is very helpful

Thank you for your help,

I tried Deshaker moments ago as I thought the name was very appropiate ;)

This does not help me at all.

To show how much the video jitters/shakes
Here you can watch a small piece of the capture:

Note that i have already cropped the borders and used FXVHS,
on this piece. The source is much worse.
