View Full Version : Is it possible to "rebuild" what DVDRB builded as that would make it work for me

If I burn the created video_ts audio_ts created, I get a few scenes with stutter.

The problem is that if I extract the M2v and AC3 and reauthor a "movie only" there is no stutter.

Everything seems ok, but the rebuilding process!

Is it possible to re-rebuild with another program??

Just for test, could you pass your output in other programs, and check the result?
Example:
Try the output in DVDRemake, or in IfoEdit (if you are not familiar, sesrch for "mock strip" in the forum), or in DVDShrink with 100% (don't use no-compression) or with 99.9%
Post your results.

I tryed using 100% with dvdshrink but that didn't help. Haven't tryed with 99,9% yet though.

Please specify a link to the "mock strip" thing. Or something with use of Ifoedit which I'm pretty familiar with. I searched for "mock strip" but it gave too many results.

EDIT: Is this what you mean:

*Try performing a mock strip in IfoEdit. You'll have to open each IFO file, click VOB Extras, check Strip VobID, Correct Vob-Unit and Correct original IFO. When you press OK and it prompts you for the streams to keep, check all. It often cures many problems, but you may also have to do the same using Menu Extras button to clean up the menu VOBs.*

TIA

Yes.
I doubt it will solve, but it deserves a try.

Well, you're right the ifoedit method did not work.

I have tryed the shrink 99,99 method, but computer is running at home, and I will not be able to tell the result until tonight.

It might work, as the re-autoring with dvdmaestro (movie only) did work for all standalones.

I hate this problem. I'm beginning to doubt wether I should blame DVDRB or the standalones which will not play this corectly.

Still, no problems with any other backup programs! Must be a DVDRB issue.

I read somewhere that Sony players had freeze errors. But that is not true anymore. No problems on my Sony PS2 and my parents Sony standalone.
