Anime: Streaming vs Curve Compression

Streaming:

Old rate control created for streaming. It provide nice results at low and medium bitrates. It works very good on anime bellow 600kbps. At low bitrate, it might not provide constant quality.

Curve Compression:

New curve compression RC works best above 600kbps. It's main purpose is to have a constant quality for a whole movie. Bellow 600kbps, you may notice motion errors with squaring, so I recommend to use "boost low" set at 10%.

Notes:
* One Piece works very bad with Curve Compression at 600kbps, better use streaming.

I like the Streaming better than Curve Compression.

The reason:

1) Compared with the codec of others, RV10's the most characteristic point is exhausted to the little of the breakdown by the low bit rate.
2) In the high bit rate, size tends to become large and I think that the direction of an MPEG4 system codec is doing the point well.
3) I think that offer of highly efficient frontend is a hasty subject (because RV10 is not VFW correspondence or DirectShow correspondence or VCM correspondence, either), and pursuit of quality of image has good deferment.
4) It is hard to say that pre-filter of RV10 is still functioning well. As a result, the effective method of changing an interlaced material into RMVB of VFR easily is not offered. In the present condition, I think that it is a problem hastier than refinement of Curve Compression.

Me It seems that the difference between New Rate Controll and Curve Compression cannot be grasped. A relation with Ellysian may not be understood in passing well, either. (^^;
