Stay away from the HP DVD 530r duel layer burner. I knew the price was to good to be true. Burner is very cheap and flimsy. DVD's burned with it play back with skipping, pixelation, and freezing, using name brand media like TDK. These are problems I have never had because I always use name brand media, but in this burner it doesn't matter. I'm going to return it and buy a Pioneer or Sony.
