I just wasted a whole ink cartridge trying to get the covers that I saved to print out so the DVD's look like they are originals, not backups. Know of any programs, or steps to printing them out to size?

Thanks,

John

There's cdcoverpro, some freeware thingy at darkwet.net etc. Coreldraw works fine for me, btw ... just specify the proper size & you are set.
Some printers do introduce distortions, though - print a thin black frame first to see if the size is correct.

I agree with steve, coverXP, www.cdcovers.cc, is the best around

It sure is ... that's what I meant with "freeware thingy from darkwet.net", btw :D ...

I've used every program that you could name, and ever program prints out my cover TOO SHORT!! I am using regular size DVD cases. The original blank DVD cover matches up with regular dvd covers, but I can't seem to print them to size. Can anyone help?

Thanks,

John

Your problem reads better and is easier to follow after being merged, which I've done. Did you follow smiller's advice?

Yeah I followed all the advice...and the covers are just printing out too small, and with CoverXP I'm trying to print DVD covers and there are no templates for DVD covers, it's all CD's... They always print out to short length wise.

Have you taken a look at DVD and CD Cover Print (http://www.northcardinal.com/productdvdf.html)? They offer a free 30 day demo, and appear to offer several templates.

@sticks3808. U r completly wrong. CoverXP has a lot of templates for its both windows. One of them is DVD Cover that print perfectly.

The template u need is dvd.keepcase, or a newer version.

yeah it's just that I can't find a version of CoverXP with the DVD template in it...and yea I've tried the north cardinal program...they still print out too short... maybe it's my printer??

www.cdcovers.cc. The one I got from them works just fine.
