View Full Version : Title plays twice...

I replaced one VOB with another, but now one of the titles that I thought I didn't touch is playing twice.

There are 5 titles that span two VOBs:

VTS_01_1.VOB (contains titles 1, 2, 3, and first part of title 4)

and

VTS_01_2.VOB (contains second part of title 4 and title 5)

These VOBs contain 5 titles:

1. Intro to Award show (short)
2. Award show clip (short)
3. Intro to Playhouse 90 (short)
4. Playhouse 90 (about 40 minutes, I think)
5. Newsreel (short)

Titles 1, 2, 3, and 5 play fine, but title 4 plays title 2 again. I've tried to go in and fix things, with no luck (hopefully I restored what I did in the files I've attached).

Which program should I use to figure out what happened?

Thanks,

Mark

At what point is your Title 4 playing again? Are you selecting a button and it does that? We need to know the sequence of events here.

Can DVD Shrink open up your file without errors? If so, can you tell me what the Titles are associated with the above?

Downloaded DVD Shrink and tried to open the DVD folder, but got an error message. So I went back and tried an older IFO and then the folder opened. Then I made an iso with DVD Shrink and burned it to disk, and it plays perfectly - all the problems fixed! Yay.

But - it only played in my computer, not in my DVD player! I made another iso with Instant Copy, burned it, and it plays great.

Damn, the whole reason I did this was to avoid having to use two DVDs for the extras. Now I ended up using two anyway. Why won't the DVD play on either of my DVD players? I get a "No Disc" message from both.

But, I do finally have my combined DVD - a lot of work, but I learned a lot, too. DVD Shrink looks great, if I can get it to make usable iso files - thanks for pointing it out!

Thanks again for all your help - sorry to bother you with this last problem.
