really low audio levels in output

hey,

i've been trying to back up dvd's to mpg4.
i used auto gordon knot to do one disk but the audio levels on the final avi are so low. I have to blast my system as lowd as possible just to hear it.

i noticed agk uses dvd2avi.
i asked this question in that forum, but havn't heard anything so i thought id ask you guys.

can you tell me why or how to get better levels?

I'm not sure you'll get this if you are using AutoGK, but are you re-encoding the audio or using the original audio? If you're re-encoding you could try normalizing it or changing the DRC settings. If you're using the original audio you are stuck with it.
