DVD Shrink 317 and preview

DVD Shrink 317 works fine for me
buit I recently installed on a friend´s machine (also under Win98) and it works fine, but the video/audio preview does not work.

I think this may have to do with the fact that my friend doesn´t use any software for movie reproduction like Win DVD and some drivers or codecs may be missing.

If that is the cause, what software or codecs should I install so he can preview the titles before reauthoring?

Thanks, but I already had tried all the options there and it does not work.
The playing does not start. No audio or video appears.

by what you say you should try installing the PowerDVD trial on his PC and then seeing if it works

if his PC cannot play DVD's due to lack of software or codecs now then I doubt DVDShrink will play them either

Is there a way to install these codecs without installing that Power DVD software (I do not have a copy of that program as I do not play DVDs on my computer, my DVD recorder was OEM and no software bundled).

How did I find out exactly what codecs are required for DVD Shrink to preview Titles when in reauthor mode?
