When you have AC3 2.0 then Nero will allow you to burn, but having AC3 5.1 it is not possible with Nero even having their AC3 Pluging as it is for decoding not for encoding.

PS Please check your burns with AC3Filter, then you will see on the picture how many audio channels are included, 2 or 5.

Can you convert the AC3 to WAV?

That said, VCD (Mpeg1) video with AC3 audio makes for very odd bedfellows - I'm not even sure if such a combination can be played on an stand-alone!

My thoughts exactly. Is that combination even possible?

oh ok thanks , i didnt know exactly were to place the question .

and yes i thougth that burning the vcd would result in no sound , but i tried burning it with nero and it worked , im not sure if the audio is in AC3 in the vcd but it plays ok in a normal dvd player , the volume of the sound is lower than other vcds , but you just adjust the volume in the tv.

If you want, you can check the audio type using GSpot beta (http://gspot.headbands.com/gspot252dl.html).
